| Introduction | DHI is a global and independent research and development organization dedicated to work within the fields of water, environment and health. Within these fields we provide a wide range of consulting, research and policy services as well as leading edge technologies and products.
Our headquarter is located in Denmark, and more than 1000 employees work in one of DHI’s 29 offices around the globe. DHI is able to invest 25% of its human resources in research and development. After 50 years of efforts, DHI has been designated as Collaborating Centre for the World Health Organization, WHO, and for the United Nations Environmental Programme, UNEP, and furthermore as Advisory Centre for the Global Water Partnership. DHI China is a subsidiary company of DHI located in the Asia Pacific Region, which was established in 2004. It has a total staff more than 100, the majority of whom are professional engineers with post-graduate qualifications. DHI China's main office is in Shanghai and there are branch offices in Tianjin, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Taiwan. DHI China is organized into five professional divisions: Water Resources, Urban Water and Industry, Marine and Coastal, DSS Development and Software Development Centre. |
