| Sludge shredder Sludge shredder is mainly used in the waste treatment industry, cutting the sludge into thin strips before being dried. There are two closely mounted cutting rollers with grooves, namely the driving roller and the driven roller, rotating in opposite directions to each other. While the sludge enters the middle of the two cutting rollers, the rotating rollers will squeeze it into the grooves, forming a strip shape. And the teeth of the scraper comb which is installed at the bottom of the cutting rollers insert into the grooves of the cutting rollers and scrape the sludge strip out. In this way, the same volume of sludge has several times more surface area in contact with hot dry air, making the sludge easier to be dried. |
