SA9: In-situ UV-Vis Spectra Analyzer SA9 is the new generation of immersion spectra analyzing sensor. It uses standardized spectra algorithms by taking the complete 200 to 710 nm absorption spectrum of water into account to determine the nitrogen and carbon compounds. SA9's spectrum compensation for light absorbing particles and turbidity provides a unique and high sensitivity approach that allows the monitoring of dissolved organic substances without sample pre-treatment. SA9 gives reliable readings for NO3-N, NO2-N, organic ingredients (CODeq, BODeq, DOCeq, TOCeq), and a number of other parameters. The sensor can be submerged into water by mounting hardware or using flow cell for bypass installation. Measurement path length is from 1 to 100 mm. There is a built-in purging nozzle for cleaning the test window by compressed air or pressurized water stream. There is also an optional clamp-on wiper for automatic test window cleaning. |

FA7-OW Oil in Water Sensor FA7-OW is a new generation of immersion sensors for measurement of oil or hydrocarbons in water based on the UV fluorescence principle. When excited by a light beam at a specific wavelength, some compounds re-emit light at a longer wavelength. Since there are very limited number of chemicals such as PAH that have fluorescence signatures, this method gives a highly selective measurement with much higher sensitivity than the conventionally used infrared-based technology. This makes it possible to determine even the slightest traces of PAH's. The FA7 sensor connects to a GDC enabling both stationary use (shafts, flows or piping) and mobile use. An optional clamp-on wiper for automatic cleaning of the optical window minimizes maintenance downtime. |

DO7: Fluorescence Dissolved Oxygen Sensor The NEW Rugged Dissolved Oxygen Sensor exclusively for the meter DO7. The DO7 sensor utilizes lifetime-based optical fluorescence sensor technology to provide an extremely stable, precise and low maintenance dissolved oxygen sensor. Unlike traditional DO sensors, DO7 does not require membranes, stirring, and cleaning and allows deployment for many months without need for re-calibration OPTICAL DO TECHNOLOGY DO7 Sensor measurements are based on selected substances that can act as dynamic fluorescence quenchers. For example, for oxygen, if a ruthenium-complex is illuminated with a blue LED it is excited and emits back a red luminescent light with an intensity, or lifetime, which directly depends on the oxygen concentration. Lifetime based measurements are superior for both long-term (no drift) and fast response applications. |

TS7: Turbidity & Suspended Solid Sensor The TS7 Sensor is a measuring system best suited to continuously and consistently measure the Turbidity and the concentration of Suspended Solid in drinking water, surface water, ground water, sewage or industrial wastewater treatment facilities. The sensor uses a measuring method that compares transmitted light with scattered light. The sensor is designed with due care to the arrangement of the optical system. These design makes the sensor less susceptible to disturbing light. The cleaning wiper unit permits continuous and consistent measurement even in an application where the sensor is exposed to contaminants. OPTICAL TECHNOLOGY The TS7 Sensor employs photo detection technology that consists of a light source and a light detector. When the incident light is beamed at the particles in the sample, it is scattered and measured by the detector. The amount of light scattering depends on the amount of material in the sample, the wavelength of light used, and the size and composition of the suspended solids. In accordance with ISO 1027/EN 27027 requirements, the TS7 exploits a long life near infrared (880nm) LED and the 90° scattered light method to assure accurate measurement of turbidity values. An automated mechanical wiper is readily available to maintain the surface clean and remove any possible air bubbles on the optical window. This helps maximize the measurement accuracy and minimize the maintenance downtime. |

DV7: Ultrasonic Velocity Sensor The DV7 submersible velocity sensor is based on the principle of Doppler Effect; it exploits the latest IDSR (Intelligent Doppler Signal Recognition) technology and innovative engineering design. It outputs velocity value by employing the frequency shift between a transmitting ultrasonic wave and its echo caused by suspended particles or gas bubbles (discontinuities) in motion. The sensing elements are Doppler ultrasound twin 1 MHz piezoelectric crystals. The built-in electronic unit performs velocity calculation and outputs digital signal to a receiver like the Delta-Phase GDC. The receiver combines with level signal of a known flume cross section to provide corresponding Area/Velocity flow measurement for open channel and non-full pipe application without primary device. The DV7 measures average velocity directly, no more tedious flow profiling work, and significantly reduces the cost of installation and operation for industrial and municipal wastewater pipeline applications provided that the liquid contains at least 50ppm with suspended solids larger than 30 micrometers. |
